Nursing jobs in Bern

In the city of Bern, the Emmental and the Oberland, German is enough — and on the ward that means Swiss German dialect, which you pick up on the job. Registered nurses (HF/FH) start at CHF 6,000–6,400 gross per month (×13), reach CHF 6,500–7,500 with experience and CHF 7,300–8,500 with a clinical specialisation; FaGe (healthcare assistants, EFZ) start at CHF 4,500–4,900. Those bands are national. In Bern, what decides your pay is your grading in the employer's salary system — how many years of experience get credited. That is what we negotiate.

Start your SRK (Swiss Red Cross) recognition early — without it, and the NAREG register entry that follows, you can only be graded in an assistant role.
